It started...

My family has always loved books. When my daughter was born, she was surrounded by stories from day one — grandparents, aunts, uncles, everyone who visited arrived with a book in hand.
She grew up being read to, and we treasured every moment of it.
But I wished for more
As much as we loved our bookshelf, there were moments I found myself searching for something that didn't quite exist — a story where the main character was going through exactly what my daughter was going through
Finding a story with a similar character and a similar situation makes it so much easier to explain difficult concepts to children
When a child sees themselves in a story — by name, by situation, by feeling — the story becomes a conversation. A tool. A little bit of magic.
We built Small Heroes so every parent could have access to that kind of story — one written specifically for their child, with their name, their world, their situation woven into every page.
Each story is illustrated and delivered as a print-ready PDF booklet. Fold it in half and it becomes a real book your child can hold, keep, and return to again and again.
